Very unusual to snow this much in England. It's not great in the sense that we can't drive anywhere when it snows because we live on a hill now and English towns can't cope with snow well; it takes days for the gritters to reach this area (about half a mile from the very centre of the town!) and by then the snow has melted anyway.
BUT it IS great because it looks so pretty! Ha! Here are a few shots I took when we went out with Zebedee this afternoon.
I don't think this taxi will be doing any business today:
(This shot was taken through a foggy lense... Top tip for winter photography: You might think it's a good idea to put your camera under your coat to shield it from the snow in between shooting, but don't - you will risk getting condensation inside your lense.)
Oh, go on - one more tree, 'cause I love them.

Ah, so beautiful! You capture the essence of snow so perfectly. :)
Thanks, Charlee - that's a lovely compliment. :) It's great to get some snow, isn't it? I've enjoyed seeing your snow photos, too.
Beautiful! I'm glad you finally received the snow we sent over! ;)
Haha, indeed! Thanks, that was very kind of you! :)
promises and warnings of snow, here, has been... ah.. flakey, up to now. We'll most Certainly have some, though, before Too long.
You're showing us both the beauty and the enthusiasm you have for experiencing it, And for making images with it.
Note to self: Enthusiasm is Catchy!
You get snow there, too? Wow! I'm waiting for your pictures. :)
Thanks, Wayne, for reminding me of enthusiasm. I want to start feeling it more often again.
