I saw a couple of wasps visiting little flowers in my garden today and thought I'd attempt to take some macro lense shots of them. (Click on the images for better detail)
I was trying to get a shot of them flying towards be so that I could get their face from the front, but that turned out to be a real challenge. I will try again tomorrow! (weather permitting)

Beauties, Kati! You need to invest in a ring flash .. it'll help a lot with catching them in mid-flight, I bet. Not that I've ever tried that .. though now I think I'll make it a goal. Next spring, when the flowers come back. :)
After having seen your phenomenal shots, yes, I will try a ring flash! I must remember to try it on spiders - we have millions of them around this autumn.
