Stanmer Park with Saana

My niece Saana arrived yesterday for a week's visit. There was Apple Day in Stanmer Park today, so we thought we'd go there for a walk with the dog and afterwards check out the apple stuff. Turns out there wasn't much apple stuff to check out, so we mainly admired the walk in the woods.









After the walk we went to look for apple pie, but ended up queueing up for about 30 minutes, only to find out that there was no apple pie nor cake left, only apple crumble, and we would have to wait for another 5 minutes for the next patch of that, even. And it wasn't very good, either... so we decided to walk back to the car at the other end of the park, taking a "short-cut"... ended up trapped in a farm house area.
