SWPP Trade Show

First, a quick snap from the beach on Thursday. Nothing earth-shattering, as I only had the pocket camera on me.



I spent all day Friday in SWPP Trade Show in Hammersmith, London. A long day, a lot of information. It was great! I will go back for another long day tomorrow (today... time to go to bed!)

Long time no sea

I haven't taken any photos at Newhaven beach for weeks, if not months. This has to change, obviously. Today I went to have a quick look at the sea, but only after the sun had already set. I will go back soon!

Fog in The Weald and the field

Dull, rainy day... I decided to buy a crazy flower to cheer me up. Here it is. Bonkers.

In search of frost

I was hoping to find some hoarforst, but as soon as we got out of Brighton it was clear that there was no frost left anywhere. It's +6°C today... We did find a tiny bit of snow/frost on Ditchling Beacon; just enough for a photo or two of ice crystals.

Oh well - it might get cold enough for frost again at some point before spring.

Frosty Stanmer Park

I'm going to go with the frost theme for another day or two, or even longer if the weather forecast people have guessed wrong again. At the moment they are saying that it will stay cold until Monday, and next week it's going to rain all week.

This morning we went to Stanmer Park.









It's ridiculous, really, how excited I get about seeing just a bit of frost. Perhaps it reminds me of Finland... This is the coldest I've experienced in England in 13 years (i.e. since I came here).












It's only after I saw this photo on my computer monitor that I realised that I should have taken macro shots of this crystallised frost! Hopefully there will be similar frost tomorrow morning!

Frosty - again!

The weather forecast people guessed wrong. It was a very cold night again last night, -6°C, and around noon it was still frosty! Brrrr.



Not that Zebedee minds.
