Snow rose

Hurrah! We have snow!

View from my office window first thing in the morning.

Neighbour's palm trees...

Our garden.

Our road.

Tobogganists in the side street!

Extremely excited Mr Zebedee.

Our car has been used as a source for snow balls.

I've been wondering what kind of a rose it is that is blooming in our garden in December. Now, I think, I know: a snow rose.

Super photos! I especially like the one taken straight down the centre of your street with the coloured houses on each side. Stunning! :)

That snow looks like so much fun. We have none right now. Zeb looks like he's enjoying himself! The snow rose is gorgeous. I like the perspective of the street as well.

Thank you all for your comments! It's fun to have all this snow because it is so unusual here. At the same time, it's very dangerous to walk on the pavements as none of the icy streets and pavements have been gritted/salted. Lots of people have fallen over and some are CRAWLING on all fours on the streets near by (!) just to get across an especially slippery area. It's madness. People actually look like zombies walking on these streets and pavements, with their arms stretched out in attempt to stay upright.

Regardless of this snow and ice being lethal, I love it!
