...and couldn't believe my eyes: my favourite tree wasn't there! It had been cut! Why! Oh, why? There was only its stump where this lovely tree had been before... I didn't have the heart to take a picture of the stump, I'd rather look at the photos that I have taken of the tree while it was still alive.
Unlike me, Zebedee didn't seem very upset.
